INGREDEINTS :

:- 2 cups of flour (maida)

:- 2 cups of water 

:- 1/2 tablespoon of salt 

:- 1 tablespoon of oil 

:- onions 

:- 1 cabbage 

:- carrot 

:- ginger & garlic (for paste)

:- green chilly 

:- monosodium glumate  (ajinamoto)

:- tomato (for sauce)

:- turmeric 

:- red chili

:- coriander powder

:- black pepper

:- dried red chili

INSTRUCTION :

1. Prepare the dough 
  • in a large bowl add flour and 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • add water little by little knead the dough until it become smooth and streche
  • after that cover the dough with clean cloth and set aside for 20-30 minutes 
2 Prepare the filling 
  • in a large pan add chopped onions , cabbage , carrot  you can mix them together 
  •  1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 
  • 2 chopped green chili
  • you can also add tofu , chopped soya chunks for better flavour as per your need
  • add 1/2 tablespoon salt 
  •  2/4 tablespoon of monosodium glutamate ( ajinamoto) 
  • add 1 pinch of turmeric powder , coriander powder , chili powder , black pepper 
  • add 1 tablespoon oil for sauteing 
  • add fresh coriander leaves 
  • mix them together make sure all the veggies should be cut proper and minced  so easily can easily filling them into shape 
3. Shape the Momo 
  • once the dough has rested , now divide it into small equal sized balls (the size of lemon)
  • roll the each ball into a thin circle like (roti) 
  • place the filling with spoon  in the centre of the circle 
  • pinch the edges together to form a shape of round in loop you can also make the half moon shape 
  • the filling should be all covered with the dough make sure the dough is not tearing up
4. steam the Momo 
  • grease a oil in steamer properly
  •  arrange the dumplings in steamer make sure leaving some spaces between each one , then again grease the dumpling form upper 
  • steam the Momo over a medium heat for 30 minutes , until the dough is enough steamed   
5. Prepare the spicy sauce 
  •  add 3-4 dried chilies soak it in warm water for 15-20 minutes 
  • add dried chili , chopped tomato , ginger , garlic , green chilies , soya sauce
  • add less than half cup of water  
  • blend everything properly until it get smooth paste of spicy sauce 
  • garnish with sesame seeds and fresh leaves of coriander 
6. Serve 
  • Serve hot the delicious steamed Dumplings in pate
  • Garnish with sliced carrot and cabbage 
  • Serve tasty spicy sauce in plate
